What's Reijukido?

The Unified Lineage of Reiki, known as Reijukido, is the reunification of the Original Reiki Systems of Japan and its Tibetan variations, together of course with the more known and most widely spread Reiki line commonly called Takata line or traditional line.

The lineages of Reiki that are reunified in the Reijukido lineage are as follows: Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai (base of the original Japanese Reiki and is the bearer of profound spiritual and esoteric knowledge), Reido Reiki (its main characteristic is a deep approach to personal growth), Gendai and Komyo Reiki (they are a good put together mix of ancient Japanese teachings and modern concepts adapted to modern life). These four separate lineages form the so called Usui Japanese lines when they are unified. They are a deeply profound and beautiful legacy that make us deeply understand the symbols, therapeutic Techniques and usages of Reiki. This legacy is the therapeutic and academical base of Reijukido together with.

The Tibetan Lineages: Traditional Tibetan and Raku Kay: they are perhaps the most rare and controversial lineages, due to the fact that they connect the Japanese traditions to the not so well understood Tibetan energy traditions, so little appreciated by most Reiki practitioners due to its mostly esoteric contents. However, they carry a very important energy and technical legacy, fundamental for a superb Reiki practise.

What's Reiki?

The word Reiki is Japanese and means vital universal energy. “Rei” refers to universal energy, which according to the Eastern Traditions, rules the intrinsic mechanisms of life and the natural processes. While “ki” refers to the vital individual energy that is present in every living being. This vital energy is the base of well known medical modalities such as acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

The Reiki treatment brings together both energies. The Reiki therapist applies this energy in a variety of ways,in order to administer it to the the body of the patient most commonly hands are use trough gentle touch. Therefore helping to balance his/ her energy and harmonize body, mind and emotions. Its usage can be specific in order to treat a concrete ailment, or general in order to achieve well-being.

In a healthy person energy flows through their physical body and across all their organs and cells, regulating the vital functions.
